The 37th Northeast Regional Meeting (NERM 2010) of the American Chemical Society will take place on June 2-5, 2010. It will be hosted by the Northern New York section of the ACS, and held in Potsdam, NY on the SUNY Potsdam campus. Our theme is "Chemistry for a Sustainable World." Please join us!

Register by May 21st to receive the "early bird" rate. The final date for abstract submission has been extended until April 30.

Nominations for most regional awards are due by April 15th - be sure to nominate someone from your local section!

Paul Anastas
  • Prof. Paul Anastas, head of Research at EPA, also professor of chemistry at Yale University, plans to attend and give a keynote address on green chemistry.
  • Prof. Vicki Colvin, Rice University, will speak on Eco-responsible Nanotechnology: Safety by Design.
  • Dr. Catherine T. Hunt, 2007 ACS president and Director of Technology Collaboration Development, Dow Chemical Company.
