The most recent innovations in the design of the UHPLC pumps and PDA detectors from Thermo Scientific will be presented. The new Force Feedback Control feature of the pumps results in significant reduction of the pressure pulsation and allows for lower detection limits to be achieved. Further improvement in sensitivity, combined with better optical resolution, is gained by radically new design of the PDA detector’s optical slit.
