Accommodation is available either on campus , or in local hotels, motels and bed & breakfast inns. Please mention NERM 2010 when booking your room, as we have negotiated room rates at the Clarkson Inn and some other hotels. A complete list of area hotels and motels is available here

Campus accommodiation
The most economical and convenient choice for attendees will be to stay on campus. Affordable rooms are available; these include maid service for the first night, free internet and a full breakfast. Full booking details will be added at the beginning of February.

The main hotel in Potsdam is the Clarkson Inn, an historic inn about half a mile from campus. Motel accommodation is available at the Northern Family Motel, or the Smalling Motel. For those who prefer Bed & Breakfasts, there is the Brambles Inn and Gardens on Elm St. close by in Potsdam, and the Butternut Ridge B&B is a short drive away.

Canton, the county seat of St. Lawrence County, is about 15 minutes away by car. There are two larger hotels: Comfort Suites, with 69 rooms, lies on the way to Potsdam, while the University Inn/Best Western, with 99 rooms, is on the campus of Saint Lawrence University. The Cascade Inn is also in downtown Canton.
