I attended SUNY Potsdam and earned my Bachelor of Arts. I majored in English Literature and Elementary Ed. Went on to do my Masters in Reading. I have taught 3 yrs. in NY State....part of the Salmon River School District. I moved to Manatee County in Florida in 2003 and have taught here for 4 years. During the first 3 years I worked for a Charter School and I taught Reading and Writing to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. This past year I accepted a job as a 5th grade teacher in the Manatee School District. I love teaching and having my Master's in Reading from SUNY Potsdam has helped me facilitate my student's learning! I am grateful for the education that SUNY Potsdam provided for me.
